I've Been Surprised in Good Way - H. Vardanyan

We interviewed Hayk Vardanyan, Chief Financial Officer of Vision Integrity, about his experience so far working with a Finance Assistant from Appoynt. Vision Integrity, an engineering company based in Western Canada,  provides high-quality engineering, inspection, and quality control services for its clients. 

Hayk found that the company needed finance support when a full-time employee working as a bookkeeper left the business. He decided that they did not need someone to fill the role in a full-time position as the cost was too high for the work that was being done at the time. When Hayk decided to hire someone from Appoynt, he had a few concerns. All those concerns quickly disappeared once he started working with us because all tasks were completed on time and exceptionally well. Of course, there were a few mistakes but none of those were significant and were easily corrected.

“I thought I might have some issues because of the distance and the time difference. I thought you might be hard to reach and that tasks may not be completed on time as we’re probably not the only clients you have but I have been surprised in a good way. That hasn’t been the case.”

A few of the many tasks that Hayk’s finance assistant helps with include; entering the payables from their shared Account Payables Inbox, employee expense entry and credit card reconciliation, and bookkeeping. “One big benefit is the work gets done. And I feel like since it’s an outsourced company, Appoynt makes sure the job is done which takes a lot off my mind. I just know when I send him the tasks he’ll get it done and I don’t have to worry about it. The cost has been a major benefit as well. It’s at least three times less than what it costs to hire someone to do the same tasks.”
