Lindsay Rowntree's experience with Appoynt

Lindsay Rowntree works with ExchangeWire as their Chief Operating Officer. ExchangeWire is a B2B publishing company which has been running for about 12 years. The company provides media, marketing and commerce news with an emphasis on data and technology. To do this, they work closely with technology suppliers, brand marketers, media agencies, and digital and physical publishers. Exchangewire also organizes events that enable business executives and industry professionals to network, grow, and improve their businesses. 

Prior to hiring a virtual assistant, tasks like calendar management and office management were being handled by everyone in the company including the CEO as part of their daily responsibilities. Work eventually became less efficient and they decided they needed to hire someone to handle these kinds of tasks. Even though they realized they needed support, it took them a few years to take action.

ExchangeWire hadn’t had experience working with a VA before working with Appoynt. As a result, they didn’t know what to expect.

“I wasn't really sure how it would work. I knew that our VA would have a set number of hours that they would be able to dedicate to us per week.
